ON-OFF Tones is an examination of shape and color by visual artist and graphic designer Anna Bergquist. Operating with different dimensionalities the book leads the viewer’s vision in stroboscopic movements across the pages as patterns twist and turn creating and decomposing spatial figures along the way. In this collection of visual distortions Bergquist is transforming the act of page-turning into a both meditative and disturbing experience.
