‘Like writing, naturally, politics is forming beginnings and ends’

Wet with Dew was conceived as a project and exhibition, that resulted to the publishing of this artist book, through the merging of the sensitivities and interests of the two artists, Moa Alskog and Cecilie Skov, that have long known and collaborated with each other.

Thoughts on ecology, feminism, capitalism, the very notion of linear evolution and rationality formed the ground for the unfolding of a double exhibition, incorporating sculptures by Cecilie and drawings by Moa. The two artists, both deploy mythical narratives and work with archetypical forms and concepts to converse upon contemporaneity.

The book is designed as a parallel narration of artisanal prints from the works of art that are displayed in dialogue with each other. Every page is an autonomous print and all together create a visual narrative, poetically underscored by the words of Eleanor Ivory Weber.
