In the artist’s own words, Aesthetix felt like a rebellion from all of – my - past work, but it still connected in a sense as a reminder to stay free creatively.

The images in the book have an intense exploratory quality. One can sense the pursue of creative liberation and the urge to broaden one’s horizons on the discipline of photography. The outcome, indeed, escapes categorization and has a meditative feeling.

The hierarchy between the compositional elements in the pictures is shifted, pushing the image away from merely a formal representation and closer to abstraction. Color and texture are emphasized in the image in a way that they challenge the whole concept of subject – medium perception.
