Take Shelter by Kim William Catton

Take Shelter by Kim William Catton

Diving into Take Shelter, the newest publication from Copenhagen-based artist Kim William Catton, it's unclear what the book is about at first.

You sense a sort of desperation from the images, a running away from the world, which is only enforced by the epigraph taken from Frank Turner's 'The Road. But while the narrative of the book is chaotic and angst-driven, the photographs are beautiful, and very quiet and serene in their language. The relatively small size of the book gives it a feeling of being a small pocket book, and gives for a really intimate experience.
